A Hollywood film crew take their high maintenance stars to remote Texas for a vampire remake of Shane. They find tensions already high in the small town of Arroyo Gulch. Seems the local rednecks are not keen on the snake handling church that’s come to town.

From the start of filming the set have problems with snakes. Across town, war has broken out between the local rancher and the snake church fundamentalists. Sheriff Walker is struggling to keep a lid on the rising heat. He’s no time for the preachers but he’s grateful to the film director for giving his backward son a job on the set. But when Caitlin, the prima-donna star, has the snake outside her trailer shot all bets are off. Turns out the creature was the Sheriff’s kid. Now there’s nobody protecting any of the interlopers from the snake people who want to take their town back.

Step on Texas and y’all better have your boots on.
